install + notifications, step by step

📱

iPhone (Safari)

1. Open the site in Safari. 2. Tap Share (square with the arrow up). 3. Scroll down → Add to Home Screen → Add. Glimpse now lives on your home screen like an app. Do this first — notifications will not work without it.

Android (Chrome)

1. Open the site in Chrome. 2. Tap the ⋮ menu → Add to Home screen (or Install app). 3. Add. The icon lands on your home screen.

Desktop (Chrome / Edge)

Open the site, then click the install icon in the address bar (or ⋮ → Install Glimpse). It runs as its own window.

Turn on notifications

In the app: ⚙️ Settings → phone notifications → turn on → allow when the browser asks → hit "send test ping". iPhone needs iOS 16.4+ plus the home-screen install above. One device per account for now.
